Access to the Curriculum for students with ASD. TEACCH program
Description
The work 'Access to the Curriculum by Students with ASD: Using the TEACCH Program to Promote Inclusion, by Mesibov and Howley ” is of assistance to all education professionals who have students with ASD in their classroom. With a clearly inclusive orientation, it addresses inclusion in the classroom for children in kindergarten, primary and secondary school, through numerous practical cases. These cases are not limited to the ordinary classroom but also include children or adolescents who attend specific classrooms or special education centers.
The original work, now translated into Spanish, came from the UK environment, in which students with ASD have a Nationally recognized Specific Curriculum, unlike what happens in our country where children with ASD or with other special educational needs they share the ordinary Curriculum with the rest of the children
