✅The PECS level 1 training lasts two days and

is designed to teach participants to implement

appropriately PECS. It starts with an overview of the

Pyramid Approach to Education ™ and explore the components

keys to designing effective educational environments. Also

offers a historical overview of training programs

of the language used with non-verbal individuals, as well as how

prepare the environment of individuals so that there is a

abundance of communication opportunities.

✅Participants will learn how to use the six phases of

PECS, including attributes through demonstrations of the

speaker with video examples and opportunities for

role playing games. Participants will leave the workshop with the

fundamental understanding to know how to use PECS with

people with Autism, communication disabilities and / or

limited communication skills.

About Judith Comajuan Lorenzo

📈Started his professional career by participating in the Adana Foundation Itinerant Educator program, which offered advice and support to ordinary schools to work on challenging behaviors that occurred in the classroom. Its functions consisted of designing, coordinating and supervising intervention programs based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.

📈It also carried out Psychopedagogical Re-education for children and adolescents with specific educational needs, and coordinated summer activities for children with behavior problems. Subsequently, he completed a specific Postgraduate course on Autism at the UB, and worked at the Fundación Instituto de Psicología diagnostic evaluations and cognitive-behavioral treatment at the individual and group level, with patients with ASD, anxiety, depression and obsessive compulsive disorder, among others. Later, she was the coordinator of the TEA Unit. Likewise, she continued in the school environment as coordinator of the Psychopedagogical Reeducation area, and conducting consultations and training for ordinary and special education schools. During this time, he reconciled his professional career and his studies, completing the theoretical training of the Master Program on ABA intervention in Autism and other developmental disorders (BACB) as well as the Pyramid and PECS training workshops. She currently works as a consultant for Pyramid Educational

Consultants-Spain conducting the PECS training and the Pyramid Approach to Education in Latin America.
